The repos go live alongside the prototype. The first set of issues are tagged “good first issue” for people who want to make a small, useful contribution while getting to know the codebase. Larger contributions follow a standard pull-request review process, governed by a Code of Conduct and a Contributor Licence Agreement that will be published before significant code lands.

The areas where help is most valuable:

• dMRV pipeline — remote sensing, ML for ecology, Sentinel-2 processing, tree-crown segmentation, allometric biomass estimation. Python / PyTorch / GDAL.
• Smart contracts and on-chain registry — Solidity, Foundry, registry design, multisig and treasury patterns, ERC-1155 carbon credit semantics.
• Verifier mobile app — cryptographic photo capture with C2PA, GPS, LiDAR. Swift / Kotlin / React Native.
• Public dashboard — reserve composition viewer, project evidence explorer, credit retirement search. TypeScript / Next.js.
• Documentation, methodology specs, and governance design — technical writing, carbon methodology knowledge, protocol governance experience.

TIME & EXPERTISE

Co-founders, advisors, operating partners.

Beyond open source contribution, the project is recruiting people who want to take a larger role:

• Technical co-founder with deep experience in either dMRV (satellite, remote sensing, ML for ecology) or production blockchain engineering.
• Scientific advisor with depth in forest carbon methodology, including hands-on project development experience under Verra, Plan Vivo, or ART/TREES.
• Operating partner with experience in community forestry programs, indigenous community partnerships, or land trust operations.
• Regulatory counsel familiar with carbon-credit and tokenised-asset regulation.
• Anchor buyer relationship lead, with prior experience in corporate carbon procurement or advance market commitments.

These roles can be paid or equity-based, employee or advisor, depending on the candidate’s preferences and the project’s stage.

TOKENS & CAPITAL

For mission-aligned early backers.

We are not currently raising a formal round. We are open to conversations with people whose capital comes with patience, conviction, and a willingness to help shape the project’s structure. The white paper describes the intended tokenomics in detail; we welcome critique and suggestions on the design from people who have built or invested in tokenised real-world-asset projects before. Donations of any size to support open source development are also welcome.
